Bayani Challenge 2011 (Bantayan Island, Cebu) Day 2

Mahirap din palang mag-isip ng isusulat noh?

But anyway, here it goes.

WELCOME TO BANTAYAN!!!

I personally love the ISLANDDDDD, nice venue for weddings and silent retreats :).
It's just like BORA pero tahimik, as in. Was shocked na it was not really fully developed pa. Good thing, makikita ng lahat ang difference ng dalawa.

After leaving our bags in the venue, we hurriedly went to the beach and took some vanity group shots! hahaha. Since malapit lang ang venue sa BEACHHHHHHHH..


YAY! after 2 days, we conquered BANTAYAN!

Jam-packed yung activities namin sa island, kung pwede lang magsalita ang buhangin, siguro nag rereklamo na yun hahaha, around 1500 volunteers came to help the island, repainting sa isang super luma na school, nagtanim sa kabundukan ng 300 trees, naglinis sa coastal area ng Bantayan, nag turo sa mga bata sa isla at andami paaaaa. The event ended with a concert by 6 cycle mind (buti nalang kapatid ni Felice yung vocalist, hahaha) and front talaga kami nakatayo.. :) Nag ala stalker mode din kami, went to the resort kung saan sila natulog, Sta Fe. Beach Resort.. and even took a photo of them. pero sorry nalang, wala ng facebook sa office, kaya couldn't access the picture na. :(

Hay, sayang talaga, If nagdala ako ng camera that time, siguro mas marami pa akong pictures na i.po.post. hay, before the year ends, i should buy a point and shoot camera, i should have digital memories of the firsts. :)

Bayani Challenge 2011 (Bantayan Island, Cebu) Day 1

I know this is soooooooooooooo uber late post!! *pasensiya*

I am happy to tell that this is my first OFFICIAL Bayani Challenge (official in the sense na tumutulong ako and also did my part sa island kasi yung mga sinasalihan ko before, medyo I am using my dad's name para talagang maglakwatsa lang sa area, hihi, brat)

Anyway, we booked our ticket, (OUR kasi 4 kami sa group. Ate Melai, Tito Beni and Ate Cathy, ako lang yung bata sa group) mga late last year pa, since we love PROMO FARES! We actually got good seats too :)

Thinking that its summer time, we went early to the airport, since we know we are hitting the beach, we bought too much stuff, shorts, jeans, shirts, bikinis :) and everything that we think is useful for the trip, good thing meron pang FREE baggage that time, the luxury of being FREEEEEEEEEEEE :) Too bad our taxi priced us HIGH! sigh, 400 pesos for Mandaluyong-NAIA 3 when honestly it will only take us 180 pesos. sigh, i hate MANILA TAXI DRIVERS!!! Well, i don't want to ruin my happy mood so I made a promise to myself to NEVER again ride WHITE TAXIS! hahaha (I WISH)

Since it's Tito Beni's first plane ride, we always make sure na may picture ang kada spot sa airport at sa plane! hahahaha, vanity pictures :)

AFTER an hour, HELLOOOOOOO CEBU!! P.S. I am a certified Half Cebuana since my Dad hails from CEBUUUUUU :) and i have to take a picture with the CEBU logo since its my first time to go to cebu by plane :)


sleepy mode since 10PM na kami nakarating, and my Uncle and Auntie is waiting outside na, oops...

My Uncle and Auntie, humbly adopts us for the night :)and even accompanied us to the earliest mall to buy some stuff sa CYD, and not just SOME ha as in, ANDAMIIIIIII, good thing my uncle has this family car, so its not that difficult to transport. They even suggested that we rent a van so that we won't feel hassled. :) good thing they knew someone who offers cheap van rental services, yehey!




ang breakfast na parang fiesta, hahaha, hello uncle and auntie :)

We went to mass pa since its a sunday and happily parang Quiapo lang yung Redemptorist Church since we saw Kuya Ricky and Ate Krissy! hahaha. natawa talaga ako, ang liit ng mundo. :) We went back to my Uncle's place and then prepared for our long trip to Bugo, Cebu. It took us around 2-3 hours by van to the port of Bugo. Luckily nakahabol kami sa last barge going to Sta. Fe, WHEW!! we thought na kami nalang naiwan na FTW from Manila, but hola! ang dami pa pala namin. :) We saw GKOM, Tito Raul na pa low profile lang and some tito's and tita's from the other side of the Country. as usual, chikka mode with tito rd, nilibre ng mga tito ng Pepsi 8oz, tapos endless chikka. :)

HAPPY FIESTA ILIGAN my LOVE

Iligan, my home, my birthplace, my love, happy fiesta. you will continue to be my most favorite place in the world! Sr. San Miguel, thank you for your guidance and for protecting my dearest place. Good job :) I may not be in Iligan right now, but I am dancing and eating in spirit! thank you San Miguel for always guiding us and for the protection that we always need. Viva Senyor San Miguel! Viva!

This is your show, this is our time...

First and foremost, i would want to thank ate Cha del rosario, for giving us FREE passes for showtime courtesy of your bf, kuya Miguel Mercado! yehey! connections are sooo good. :)

Sorry forgot to take a picture of the passes! haha! We got five passes by the way.. and please forgive my pictures, they are from BB since we forgot to bring a decent camera!!

Initially we are five in the group. Maymay, Carmz, Mikka, Kervin and Me. But sadly Carmz and Mikka couldn't make it due to deadlines.. *sad face*

Arrived at ABS compound at around 9am, SUPER LATE!! hahaha, buti nalang maaga pa rin kami sa iba, 9:30 kasi mag close yung audience entrance. :) waited for about 30 minutes before papasok sa studio.. d naman masyadong maraming tao, kasi hindi ka makakapasok kung wala kang passes, thank God. We had this Non Revenue Passes, so we waited patiently...



Around 9:45, pinapasok na kami! yehey! seated at the back kami kasi late kaming dumating! hahaha. Pero ang liit lang pala ng studio nila, that's why parang ang lapit lang ng stage, promise! and its super cold pa..



Before the show, we have to practice the theme song and of course the dance steps. Super sorry, didn't get to picture na, bawal kasing ilabas yung cellphones kasi distraction daw sa camera! hahaha. okay, so kinanta muna namin ang theme song plus the dance step and then 4 rounds of steps pa for the entrance nila Vhong, Anne, Jugs and Teddy and Vice.. haha, grabe, memorize ko pa ang steppings until now. :)

And then 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 its showtime! tilian lahat ng tao when the hosts arrived! and we danced and then sang, it was uber fun, an hour of just expressing yourself thru dance. grabe! the best! You know the sequence of the show na naman dba? kaya no need to explain! haha. The best thing about showtime, kahit na commercial breaks, kung nag-uusap sila lahat, naka mic pa rin! super cool, and they are not SNOB! lahat pinapansin nila, picture dito, picture doon. it's the show na talagang meet and greet. sayang wala kaming good camera that time.. booo..

Ang bait ni Dimples, was struck when a group of girls came to her for a picture. but because ayaw siyang palabasin ng guard sa station niya, she instructed the girls to stay on her front while she's at the back and ask someone to take the picture, awwssss so sweet of her and then ryan went to join her. And after another commercial break si Jhong nman ang nag pose sa area niya para kahit papaano makakapicture.

Grabe, the experience was worth remembering sayang Vice wasn't that "bigay" kasi may problema daw ito sa love life, next time nalang. :) When visiting Manila, you should watch them, it's not being JOLOGS kaya nanonood ka, you just want to tangkilik Filipino shows! :) Next Stop.. ASAP :)

I MISS. . .

September 1, 2010 (4:05 PM) was my farewell to my dear Iligan.
Goodbye for now, have to work and live on my own (since I haven't experienced such thing) :)

Time, super fast, can you imagine that its almost OCTOBER, I'm a year MANILENYA na pala! haha. Time travels so fast, ilang birthdays, anniversaries, monthsaries, fiestas movie dates na ang dumaan! GAHHDDDD..

What I miss about??? hmmmmm. too many to mention..

1. MY BIG COZY BED!! I super miss mr. bed. doon kasi ako obviously natutulog, naninipa, gumagawa ng assignments, nag oovernight sa pag-aaral (i wish), nanonood ng HORROR movies (sorry,certified horror fan ako) and umiiyak dahil sa lahat! sigh, i'll see you again mr. bed, we will have tons of memories to share pa. kindly wait for me.. :)



2. MY UBER CUTE DOGGGGG.. I named him Doggie para hindi na mahirapan dba? make sense? haha. I super miss him kasi whenever I'm sad and nakaupo lang sa labas, he jumps and then pa sweet na lumalapit sa akin, sigh, i miss random plays with him.. But he's kinda old na :( I hope maabutan ko pa siyang buhay when I visit home....



3. This is funny, but i miss the walkway sa village namin, doon kasi ako lumaki and I've seen everyone grow, grabe ang bilis.. I miss walking doon, everytime I go to work, out on a date and every activity na ginagawa ko. sana pagbalik ko cementado ka na! like this.. hahaha..




4. I miss my friends, too bad i can't have good pictures of them, wala na kasing FRIENDSTER! hahaha.. They are the kind of friends na you would want to hang out with, walang inuman, ice tea lang! haha. basta all good stuff ang ginagawa namin always, right guys? I miss our beach moments, overnight, chikka sa hallway, acting2 nato.. Sigh if i could turn back time ang show, i still want to be friends with you guys.. I miss and love you all. PS.. NANGAWALA atong mga good pictures of course taken by the famous photographer.. ME> :)






5. I miss Mama's Home cooked meals and of course COOKING! Kung naa palang koi lutuan dris manila, d ra unta kaayo ko mingawon bah!!! gesshhhh.. I also miss eating with my fam, sigh. i'll promise to make it up to you soon.. :)






8. My bestfriend in the whole world!!! Pauline! Thank you for the 6 years non stop laughter and chikkas! All secrets kabalo na siya! hahaha.. pero naa mi vow na kami ra dapat makabalo duha!! thank you soo much i know magunaw man ang mundo naa ra ka for me, thank you beastpren!! haha. love tka





7. My family of course, grabe... sleepless night sometimes kasi talagang na miss ko lang sila bigla. Miss my little bros kasi nag.aaway kami palagi, sinisigawan ko sila and everything bad na kayang gawin ng tao! hahaha. I miss my kuya, he's so sweet kasi kung may kailangan. haha. My mama, siya talaga yung kausap ko sa lahat, mapa lovelife, grades, boys as in lahat!! and lastly si Papa, my constant guide, lahat yata ng problems hindi ko nasasabi sa kanya, but then i know deep inside na alam niya na may problema ako, but instead of really talking to me about it, pinapagaan lang niya loob ko by buying ice cream (parang bata)or kahit pasa load! haha. your the best family in the world, i couldn't ask for more. love you all to bits. :)





8. Si boyfie! hahaha. Well super thank you for the 3 years of commitment! haha. btaw, thank you for always cheering me up, sa mga constant text2 nato and for everything...
Being with you is like being with my bestfriend! i love you gang.. :p




I don't wanna get senti here! making this blog while working is the best stress medicine! I'll do this much often..

THE Calauan Experience

Since I'm back to the blogging world. I am gonna blog every IMPORTANT happenings of my life (Now that I'm a MANILA Girl ewwww.). Well I might find this awkward since its been 6 years since my last blog (PS I even forgot what I've blogged about HAHA).

Roadtrips have always been fun, up north or south. Kuya Budoi, invited us (roomies) to join him and Kuya Norman in there area visit in Laguna. Knowing Laguna (thinking about ENCHANTED KINGDOM, HOT SPRINGS and RESORTS)we are expecting like visiting a site near a hot spring or a beach resort. WOW! too much!! hahaha. We left Manila at 7:00 AM, knowing that its a Saturday Morning and haler, we are not in Iligan (the land of civilization, haha) its MANILA, so better be on the road before TRAFFIC hits the city.

I am not fond of taking pictures while everyone was sleeping, i find it RUDE! TRUE?!!
So after 3 hours of roadtrip, we arrived in this mini-city (yan yung tawag nila) complete with a market, police post and everything inside a city (kaya nga mini city dba?)

and guess what! We visited a Habitat for Humanity Site! How cool is that, Kalinga sa Bayan!!



Met this amazing Priest (aka Michael V, admit it, he really looks like him) he was hilarious, showing us the entire site and his collection of GUNS!! He manages the site ever since :)


Gusto ko rin mag karoon ng ganito, promise! :)

I truly enjoy this first road trip. I hope i can travel up north soon.. :)
